The sadistic violence in this movie was too much for me & my friends and we walked out part way... more through. Some people may be fine with this or even enjoy watching it??? but if you're at all sensitive to scenes of women being tortured - don't go!

This movie, whilst graphic and shocking, brought a believeable (and apparently somewhat factual) horror to life. I would have to think twice about roaming around Oz without... more a good mechanic in the back seat! If you don't have the stomach for a good horror movie, go watch 'The Sound of Music' and leave the seats for sensible critics.

After starting off looking (handheld cam look) and feeling like a road trip movie it changes more or less instantly into a very brutal survival movie. The buildup... more is slow which I think contributes to how shocking and graphically realistic the torture scenes seem. Wolf Creek has many plot holes but this is mostly made up for by the "Blair Witch" style realism in which it is filmed. It looks very gritty and it isn't hard to loose yourself in whats happening on screen. Even though the violence and torture was related to the story I did find it extreme and just a little over the top at times and the ending left a bad taste in my mouth. If you are looking for a different type of thriller then this movie might hit the spot, otherwise stay well away. 3/5

After reading several very bland reviews I concluded that it couldn't be that bad, and went to see it as I also won tickets to the preview. I was appauled. I concluded... more half way through that I should walk away, but didn't and regret it. If you're a pervert who gets off on graphic rape and torture scenes then this is probably the movie for you.
