The film stars Heather Locklear as Duff?s mother who is really hilarious. A far cry from her usual... more roles, she is actually really surprising in her capability for the comedic. Duff is exactly the same as her other roles. Vanessa Lengies (American Dreams) stars as Duff?s friend and Chris Noth (Sex and the city) as ?The Perfect Man?. Noth?s performance channels Mr Big so he really hasn?t changed roles but Lengies is hilarious, and lends humour that the film lacks. Go see it if you have time, it?s not entirely bad if you ignore Hilary Duff.

The best so far that Hilary Duff has starred in she has done a great job in this one (pre her skinny stage)! a great feel good mother daughter film where they both learn the value... more of just that. it is sad in parts but bascially a movie that you have to see if you are a fan of Hilary Duff and even Heather Locklear. I have been waiting months for "The Perfect Man" to come out here in NZ (it came out in July in the states) and i must say it lived up to my expectations, so much so that i am going again tonight with my friends. Go and see it now you will not be disapointed :)
