It was funny but also portrayed emotion fantastically where... more it needed to. Very well acted, some great quotes I hope to remember. Dragged slightly at the end.

Ryan Gosling and Rachel McAdams stopped hearts and redefined romance for all past, present and future generations. Intensely creative cinematography abounds in this film. It is... more beautifully shot, and the costuming immaculate. Gosling and McAdams are a perfect casting emitting an Electric chemistry that hasn?t been found in an onscreen couple before. So electric it was that their romance continued off screen. The story isn?t new but the take on the story was original and the setting is done in two different times, one is in the 1940s and the other present day. The Notebook is the most romantic, intense, immaculate film, possibly of all time. Gosling?s character ?Noah? is the guy the girls want, or at least holds the qualities we want to see in a man. A great supporting cast, of Gena Rowlands and James Garner round it off , but the story stands for itself. The Notebook is in my top 5 films list. A must see!

I was warned that it would make you cry but I ended up blubbering like a baby saying "I want that". This is probably the best portrayal of... more true love I have ever seen in a movie. I loved the fact that most of the actors are pretty much unknown and they all did such a fantastic job. Set in a wonderful era with wonderful scenes. I really loved this and would see it again and again. Definetly a girlie 'must see'.

Only for him to end up loving it more than you, and chatting non stop on how great it was. I can't see anyone seeing this moving... more and not enjoying it. It's a story that moves even the unmovable. 9/10

    CharleneReviewed at 10:44AM on 14 Feb 2005Great, Just Like The Book - after reading the book by Nicholas Sparks i could not wait to see the movie i even traveled up it auckland to see it as the cinemas in my town failed to show it, it was fantastic it was exactly like the book and i was... more very impressed by this. normally when a book is going to be dipicted in a movie they fail to be true to the book but this was far from that. i loved the romatic story of noah and allie and was facinated by their love story. well worth it and now i cant wait for it to come out on dvd so i can watch it over and over again. 10/10

    courtz16Reviewed at 10:53PM on 16 Sep 2006Omg - I love this movie. i first watched it when i was home alone and i cried so much, i told all my friends about it and they also love it. i just watched it again tonight with my mum and dad and i cried all the way through.... more my teacher wanted the class to watch it but we lucky didnt end up watchn it. i think that everyone should watch it.
