    Sarah6Reviewed at 09:12AM on 17 Apr 2007Mystery To Believe - I was a sceptic to start with about how real the supernatural element was. As the story unfolds it is amazing. You are lead to believe the truth is a lie. If you enjoy a good mystery this one is definitely for you.

    RhondaSReviewed at 04:08PM on 9 May 2007Illusionist Disillusioning - The Illusionist and The Prestige came out roughly around the same time- production wise and while the Prestige focused on the scientific side of magic, The Illusionist focuses on the magic side of the magic. The only... more problem here is that while The Prestige succeeds with it?s take on magic, The Illusionist fails miserably. The cast performances are lacklustre at best, they all look like they have Syphilis or are about to get killed by the plague, the magic itself is too holographic and the storyline so predictable you can pretty much pre-empt the dialogue. Yes the sets were well done, the effects- average at best. The Illusionist fails to deliver any kind of new idea or new wave of thought. It is without life, without heart, without heat that this film runs and it shows with every second of tired dialogue. The only thing good about this movie was Michael Caine in his awesome original brand of acting. My suggestion is to save time and hire The Prestige. At least that?s worth the effo

    princess1Reviewed at 08:57PM on 7 Apr 2007The Illusionist - I loved it! Casting was brilliant with Ed Norton, Jessica Biel and Rufus Sewell. Very theatrical and you are left guessing to the last.
