With male leads such as the gorgeous Jude Law and the hilarious Jack Black countering the ever present Rufus Sewell, and female leads like Cameron Diaz and Kate Winslet, there?s... more almost a direct guarantee of quality before you even sit down to watch this film. Jude Law doesn?t play his usual arrogant, vain, show boy self, in this film which is refreshing and with the love stories not necessarily being all with each other, this does give the tired romance story a breath of life. Eli Wallach is in the role of the old Hollywood writer Arthur Abbot and does a more than fantastic job at it. Nancy Myers did a great job here in getting assembling this team and in creating such a fresh take on the usual romantic plot, and while this film does take place at Christmas, it is not a holiday movie, perhaps the title should be more aptly names The Vacation or The Getaway so as to relinquish the ?Holiday movie? mindset from viewers. An Absolute must see!

And let me tell you!! Let me tell you. Awsome, awsome, awsome. This movie brought a tear 2 my eye. And I never really do have... more tear comming out of my eyes. But this was the best I've seen in months.

Amanda (Cameron Diaz) however is a movie trailer creator and... more lives the big life in L.A. she has just broken up with her boyfriend and needs to get away. Both ladies desperatley need a holiday but not without the help of a house swapping website. They both find love at their temporary house. It is a must see movie Full of laughter and tears. Absolutley loved it!

    dingxdongReviewed at 07:16PM on 1 Jan 2007The Holiday Movie Review - saw the movie last night and would see it again tonight if at all possible.absolutely loved it. to me there was not one dull moment and that is coming from someone who as a rule avoids movies over 2 hours in... more duration. all the actors were tremendous in my opinion. i agree, its a must see.
