I found Mission Impossible III to have a reasonably well paced, decent storyline in terms of... more action films, especially for a third installment. Although the film contains multiple large scale explosions I found the special effects complimented the film, rather than dominating it. It wasn?t until I left the theatre I remembered Tom Cruise was the annoying media magnet he has become recently, which must say something for the way he plays Ethan Hunt in the film. Philip Seymour Hoffman did a fantastic job as bad guy Owen Davian because I cringed every time he landed onscreen. Like any action film Mission Impossible III has some stunts which are over-the-top. I?ve been told this film is better than number two and considering there isn?t a fantastic selection of films around at the moment, your money won?t be wasted if you choose M:I 3.

For those in the anti-Tom club just enjoy him as Ethan Hunt back to his impossible best.
