    cinemajunkieReviewed at 07:57PM on 17 Apr 2007Thank Goodness For Simon Pegg And Nick Frost - this movie is good times and if you haven't seen it you're missing out. See Shaun of the Dead if you're feeling a bit dubious about it, it has the same humour but with a completely different story.
2. SpindleReviewed at 08:35PM on 14 Apr 2007Comic Cops - I found the movie Hot Fuzz to be better than I expected and I am sure it will appeal to a wide audience. It is based on the police as we have never seen them before. The film follows the exploits of Nicholas Angel... more (Simon Pegg) in his efforts to clean up a small English town that is not supposed to need cleaning up. He has been sent there because he is making everyone else in London look bad and it is assumed that he will just take things quietly. When he arrives in town the movie takes on elements of an American buddy movie as Nicholas teams up with a lazy inefficient slob of a partner. Despite their failings the two main leads are likeable in their own way and in spite of being opposites they become friends. When they discover that the town is not as it seems and that there are criminals to be dealt with, they do so with great gusto and often hilarious results. In short a most enjoyable film.

I found it very injoyable very humourus keeping me laughing through most of the movie.It... more is based around your "typical" country police station were nothing major ever happens until the new kid from London starts to look closer at the going ons of the community.I would go see it again.
