    EmmaLouReviewed at 02:40PM on 17 Mar 2006Very Thought Provoking. - Prior to the Oscars I hadn't even heard of this movie and when reading reviews most people had conflicting views. I agree that it may seem contrived though not to an extent which makes it any less than an excellent... more film. Inter-connecting storylines are popular with "indie" films such as Happy Endings which I found annoying but with Crash it just works. I believe this is due to the cast, who mostly deliever fantastic performances. The racial discrimination shocked me at first but helped me develop a feeling towards the film. Some characters you can't help but hate, love, feel sorry for, then it all turns around on you and you are left to consider how quickly you came to stereotype them.

This movie has such a wonderful message and is just so emotional. It really makes you think. I would definetly... more recommend this movie. FABULOUS!!

It definitely did not disappoint - it has a stellar cast, a great storyline,a superb soundtrack and is... more the sort of movie that encourages viewers to debate and discuss what they've seen. There are many stories within this movie, all set in the complex and multi-cultural world of Los Angeles. The stories come together seamlessly in the end, showing the connection between characters, no matter how insignificant they may seem to begin with. Each story is in itself touching in some way, and sadly I think it truly reflects some of the hardships and prejudice that people face.

Great performances from a star studded cast. Cool soundtrack. I'd give it 4/5 stars and recommed viewing!

I had some tredipation about the movie from the picture logo - thought it might be a bit "hip-hop". Well, it was thoroughly... more engrossing! What a story, very well acted. It makes you feel like you're right there and thinking it could happen to you. (Thank god we don't live in LA.) Really worth a look. Great soundtrack too.
